Many of you however are not near running water, unless someone left the tap on in the bath. So I thought that I would upload this video for you to play.
For some you can use it whilst you are meditating, using one of the many exercises we have done on Sunday Everyday. For those who find it hard to sleep, try running this for a few nights and see if it makes a difference for you. This runs for 1 hour so you will have plenty of time.
Constant white noise, like running water can also help you study and focus. Scientists have proven that the sound of running water, whether it be the waves on the beach, a creek or a river, are soothing to our brains and can help us relax and sleep. It’s because the brain recognises threat, especially loud noises and the sounds of water register as calming and peaceful.
