If this is your first time watching an ASMR video, don’t trip... It stands for "autonomous sensory meridian response". Basically it creates a head tingling sensation, or a tingling in the body, which can help you relax. People who suffer from sleep deprivation or insomnia (as I do occasionally) often use ASMR videos to help them sleep. Certain sound triggers and/or mundane tasks are associated with ASMR, such as gentle whispering, soft speaking, tapping, paper crinkling, etc.
